Smithers Diabetes Education Program - Smithers Community Health

Services include ongoing education and training based on the Canadian Diabetes Association clinical practice guidelines. A goal is to decrease hospitalizations and need for travel to major centres for similar services. Clients are seen as inpatients or outpatients, mainly on physician referral in a combination of group and individual settings.
