BC Early Hearing Program
Tests newborn babies' hearing. Recognizing hearing loss early helps to reduce problems and the concerns that most care-givers share.
Audiology
Conducts hearing assessments for children; provides hearing aids (through the Northern Health Authority Regional Hearing Aid Program); provides auditory training equipment; provides swim plugs and ear defenders.
Speech and Language Program
Conducts screenings, assessments, and monitoring; provides therapy; conducts workshops for parents, child care providers, preschool teachers, and public health nurses.

Referral criteria | Parents and individuals are encouraged to make their own referrals. This can be done by a phone call, a referral form or in person. A referral can also be made by any community service provider with parents' awareness and consent. |
