Northwest Inter-Nation Family & Community Services
NIFCS is an Aboriginal-based agency that provides family support, guardianship and caregiver services to seven First nations in the Northwest region of British Columbia.
NIFCS is guided by cultural knowledge, values and wisdom and supported with strategic governance by a First Nations board of directors, representing each community.
NIFCS has a group of caring, compassionate, and empathetic social workers and staff that deliver culturally appropriate services to children, youth and families belonging/registered to NIFCS seven member bands.
NIFCS will not turn away any other person with Aboriginal ancestry who may seek help from time to time. NIFCS services are preventative in nature to support wellbeing and best interest of children and families.
