
Child Welfare
The Child Welfare Committee is very active in the role of being an advocate, support and role for families. This is available for all on and off band members. The Social Development Worker works closely with the local MCFD office for purposes of collaboration, support, and advocacy.
Gitanmaax is working towards exercising its jurisdictional right in all child protection matters.
