Better At Home

Better at Home is a United Way program that supports adults 65+ with basic day‑to‑day tasks so they can continue living independently and stay connected to their community. In Terrace, Volunteer Terrace delivers two key services: light housekeeping through Northern Home Care and friendly visiting to help reduce isolation for vulnerable seniors. The program is funded by the Province of BC and managed by the United Way of the Lower Mainland, with services provided locally by non‑profit partners.
