Children Who Witness Abuse
The Children Who Witness Abuse program is designed to aid children and youth between the ages of three and eighteen years of age and their caregivers who have been impacted by violence.
We to end the intergenerational cycle of violence by promoting healing.
Counselling addresses the emotional, social behavioural, and psychological issues arising when a child witnesses violence, and helps children learn to cope.
The CWWA program provides both group and individual counselling, community presentations regarding the effects of children and youth being exposed to violence, and school based educational activities designed to prevent violence.
