Family Counselling Program
North Coast Transition Society is a feminist non-profit organization that provides services and programs for men, women and children, including survivors of violence. The Society publicly addresses issues of violence, homelessness, poverty, addictions and social justice.
Counselling offers individuals and families opportunities to develop new understandings, to build on existing strengths, and to discover new ways of relating to others. The family counsellor will support clients to work on a variety of issues at a pace that is safe and comfortable for them utilizing a strengths-based, trauma-informed and person-centered approach.
1-on-1 sessions are booked by the hour. Couples and family session may last from an hour to an hour and a half.
