Family / Caregiver Support Group

Are you a caregiver, friend or family member of a loved one with a mental illness? You are not alone.

Join us for one of our monthly support groups led by trained peer facilitators.

  • Our hybrid Family Support Group is held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month over Zoom from 6:00 pm to approximately 7:30 pm. Families / caregivers can choose to attend either in-person from Terrace or Prince Rupert, or  virtually within the Northwest.
  • Meetings are held monthly except for in July and August or on stat holidays.
  • Meetings are approximately 1 to 1.5 hours in length depending on family needs

Walk-in hours: Support Groups and classes are by registration

Mental Health Family Resource Centre We provide resources to family members and anyone in a caring relationship with someone living with a serious mental illness.
Strengthening Families Together Strengthening Families Together (SFT) is a free six-session program that equips families and caregivers with knowledge, skills, and connections to better support loved ones with mental illness. Our next sessions are scheduled to take place April 7th to May 12th 2026 on Tuesday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A light meal and refreshments will be provided during the sessions.
