Join the MHAAC Committee! Are you someone with lived experience of mental illness and / or substance use, or are you a friend, famiy member, or community ally? Your voice matters!
The Mental Health and Addictions Advisory Committee or MHAAC (and their sub-committee Consumer and Family Initiative Funds Committee / CFIF) meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Terrace Health Unit. Meetings are relaxed, supportive, and about an hour long.

- Help guide and support local mental health projects
- Learn about and vote on funding for education, recreation, and wellness programs
- Subcommittee opportunities available for the CFIF (Consumer and Family Initiative Funds Committee)

| Strengthening Families Together (SFT) is a free six-session program that equips families and caregivers with knowledge, skills, and connections to better support loved ones with mental illness. Our next sessions are scheduled to begin October 14th. Refreshments will be provided during the sessions.
